Painting By Diamonds Guide
At last your diamond painting kit has arrived.
I would like to point out that the smaller kits are just starter kits basically just for you to try it out and see if it is something you enjoy, also the resolution is not as good on the smaller ones but it is great for just trying it out.
Open it carefully and check your product before starting anything.
All the kits include canvas which is printed, beads that are made of high quality resin in different colors and they call them diamonds which are arranged in order of coding. You will also find included the tools that you need which will be glue, diamond painting pen and plastic tray.
See Images Below
As you can see from above on the side of the canvas there is a comparison table to identify the diamond number which corresponds to a printed area on the canvas.
You will have a plastic sheet covering the canvas, only lift off the plastic on the area that you are working on,make sure to put the plastic back on if you have to take a break from it otherwise it will dry off and also dust may get on it.
When you put the diamonds on the plastic tray make sure they are flat side down
That is because the pen picks them up from the rounded side.
Using the pen dip the tip of it in the wax, and then pick up the diamond color with the tip and place into the symbol on the canvas.
There is already glue on the canvas so do not use too much wax, just enough to pick up the diamond.
Once you have completed one color move on to the next one.
Please Please Remember
Only remove the plastic on the area you are working on,if you remove it all the glue on the canvas will dry up.
When you have finished a section press the plastic back down to make the diamonds stick more to the canvas.
I find it easier to start at the bottom of the painting and work upwards.
